Can Franchesco's host my ceremony on premise?

Yes! We have several options in which we can accommodate wedding ceremonies from 20 people to 250 people!

Why should I choose Franchesco’s to host my wedding?

Franchesco’s is a family owned business that takes tremendous pride in making your day as magical as your dreams. With the experience of over 500 weddings, Franchesco’s knows what it takes to deliver in the most important aspects of a Wedding Venue. We pride ourselves on providing the full experience, from your initial booking, through the food quality, level of service, state of the art facility, and personal attention. The biggest compliments we received from guests were that the entire process was so easy, the food was as if they were sitting in our dining room, and the staff took care of everything! We are there every step of the way to ensure your big day is one you will never forget.  

Is there a discounted wedding rate for different days of the week?

Yes! Prime wedding spots are usually Saturday nights, but we offer discounts for booking weddings weekdays, Sundays, and Fridays.

Is there a "day-of" wedding coordinator at Franchesco's?

Yes- and not just one! You will work with your wedding specialist throughout the entire process, from booking, to your tasting, all the way through your wedding day. Additionally, you will have a banquet captain and an abundance of serving staff, all there to make sure everything flows perfectly. Our expert wedding specialists will make your planning as easy and stress-free as possible…trust us-they are the best!

Can I simply rent out the ballroom for my wedding?

Yes, we do offer simple packages that only include the room rental, setup, and additional items such as table clothes, chair covers, etc,

How many wedding guests can you accommodate?

With many room options available, we can accommodate up to 500 people. 

How much time do we have to decorate for my wedding?

Depending on availability, we allow access the day before your wedding for decorating. If there is an event the night before your Wedding Day, then your room will be ready by 10:00 am the day of your event.

Are you able to cater my wedding at an off-site location?

Yes! We are preferred vendors at numerous off-site Wedding locations including Anderson Japanese Gardens, DC Estates Winery, Nicholas Conservatory, and Midway Village. We also can cater at additional sites, if they allow. We can include linens, plate ware, silverware, kitchen equipment, staffing, etc. Our goal is to never let your guests know they are at an off-site location; rather they are eating right inside our dining room.

What is your wedding cancellation policy?

Once you are booked there is no refund of your initial deposit. If you need to cancel, your initial deposit is non-refundable, and depending on the date of your cancellation, there may be additional costs. If your event is more than 90 days away and paid in full, we can issue you a credit to be used toward a different event, less your initial non-refundable deposit. Any credits must be used within one year.

Does Franchesco's provide wedding payment plans?

Yes, we offer payment plans and we are happy to work with you. An initial deposit is due at the time of booking and you have the option to set up a monthly payment plan, or we take final payments one month before your event. For specific information, please contact us directly.

 

Can I tour Franchesco's wedding faciities?

Yes! We would love the opportunity to show you the building and discuss the details of your event. Please call us at 1-815-229-0800 or click below to complete the request for information. We will make sure we schedule a time with one of our wedding specialists. We typically schedule tours from 11 am - 7 pm during the week, and we can often accommodate tours on Saturdays and occasional weekday evenings.  

Do you provide any Audio Visual equipment?

Yes! Our state of the art systems are available for rent and  can be included into your package price. Equipment includes projectors, audio speakers, microphones, LED Lighting, and more! We also have a plug-and play-option in which you can bring in your iPod or music supply and plug directly into our overhead systems.

Are we allowed to bring in decorations? What about candles?

Yes! During you setup time, you can bring in decorations, including candles. With any wedding package, we include 3 votives per table. 

Is there a food and beverage minimum for weddings? 

We do have a minimum of 125 guests to reserve the entire Grand Ballroom. Additionally, there may be food and beverage minimums required if the main dining room is used. Ask your wedding specialists for further details.

Is there a bride’s room at Franchesco's where we can get ready?

Yes! The bride’s room provides a great space to get ready for the big day as well as store personal items during your event. Depending on the package booked, complimentary appetizers and champagne may also be provided during your event.

How do I book my Franchesco's wedding?

Bookings can be done in person or over the phone. We will require your initial deposit as well as a signed contract. For payment plan options, please feel free to contact a Franchesco’s representative.

Is there a site fee for Franchesco's weddings?

There is $3000 room rental fee if you require use of our entire Grand Ballroom. This will include everything from your Risers, Head Table, Audio Visual Equipment, Dance Floor, Standard Linens, China, Votives, Mirror Tiles, Cake Table, Gift Table, and additional tables as requested.

 

How do I book my Franchesco's wedding?
